My guess:

Caleb Swanigan: 1st team, player of the year

Vincent Edwards: 3rd team

Dakota Mathias: All-Defense team

Carsen Edwards: All-Fresman team (It's a very crowded field. Is there honorable mention in this category? My guess is that Tony Carr, Miles Bridge, Nick Ward, and Amir Coffey are probably locks.)

Matt Painter: Coach of the Year

Alsi, the Bohannon kid at Iowa will probably be on the All-Freshman team.

to take a school from last to first without a bunch of all stars in three years is an huge accomplishment. Biggie was a huge plus, but there are other teams in the big with more all-stars...all-stars...

Caleb Swanigan: 1st team, player of the year

I think VE gets 2nd team and DM gets 3rd or HM. Collins will probably get COY, but it could go either way.

Painter should be coach of the year. Collins did a great job with NW, but he lost to Painter twice during the season. Purdue is the conference champion at the end of the season.

Other than Caleb getting POTY, I'm not sure what else we may see. I'd be surprised if we get another 1st team player. Vince and Dakota will be on 2nd/3rd teams or HM. Not sure Dakota will get DPOTY although I think there is an argument for that. Still think Happ will get that. I also think CMP will get some consideration for COTY but doubt he beats Collins (who I don't think deserves it) or Pitino (who I can see an argument for).

Any thoughts on where Haas might fall? Has he started too much to be considered for 6th man?

Absolutely shocked if anyone but Matt.

It could easily be Pitino or Collins as well. Their teams have probably exceeded preseason expectations of them moreso than Purdue has (most had the Boilers finishing in the top four this season).

I have a feeling that Collins will get it, but Pitino and Painter are deserving as well.

I think Swanigan will be first team and CPOY, VE will be third team and Haas and Mathias will be honorable mention, with Mathias on the all-defensive team. I think CE will be left off of the all-freshman team simply because there are so many impact freshman this season (Miles Bridges, Nick Ward, Tony Carr, Mike Watkins, Justin Jackson, Amir Coffey, Jordan Bohannon, Tyler Cook, etc.).

It would be a shame if Carsen gets left off. He was intergal to Purdue winning a outright BTC and that should count for a great deal in the voting.

Absolutely. He pulled Purdue's chestnuts out of the fire at Maryland. Obviously there's no way of knowing for certain what would have happened the rest of the way had Purdue lost that one, but it's a distinct possibility that both teams would have finished 13-5.

I agree with Nags, though -- there were just too many impact freshmen this year. Not all of them can make the all-freshman team. Edwards never really got the headlines of guys like Bridges, Ward, Carr, Bohannon, Coffey, Cook, etc.

Purdue was tabbed for 4th or 5th in the B1G during preseason--behind IU, Wisconsin, MSU, Mich.

Painter for COY.

Every publication I own or saw had Purdue finishing ahead of Michigan. I saw the Boilers predicted to finish anywhere from 2nd to 4th. Obviously, they finished above those expectations (1st) but when compared to Minnesota's projections (most had them anywhere from 11th to 13th and they finished 4th), their improvement from one season to the next was greater than Purdue's in the regular season. So, an argument can be for Pitino. Do I think Painter's done a good job with this team? Yes, I do. Do I think he's a surefire pick for COTY? No, I do not.

Maybe as a condition to Pitino getting COY this year, he has to stipulate that he was WCOY last year.

Is it safe to say that Pitino had a different team from one year (more player change than player improvement) to the next, resulting in his improvement and Purdue had essentially the same team and actually improved as players and team?
