Pre Camp Predictions

Someone specifically just mentioned "unvarnished" reporting in this thread and I didn't know what he/she was referring to.

I think our practice reports (daily analysis) don't sugar-coat anything, but those also are premium content so maybe aren't read by most people on this board.

That Shoop stuff was in a different thread, I think.

I said unvarnished. As in "more unvarnished opinions" from gbi.

Meant it as a compliment of the straight shooting we got all camp, and over the year.

Honest reporting raised a lot of questions about this staffs player personnel choices (Among other issues, that played out over the season) and I think you guys do a great job providing both objective reporting and editorializing.

Actually, I really appreciated their transparency here too. Even if they would have supported the personnel decisions, it was nice to have a voice commenting on it since I was so dumbfounded by that whole thing.

I'll probably get crucified for this statement. Etling reminds me of Jay Cutler in that he has a great arm just don't think he has what it takes between the ears. Much like Cutler, Etling, has never won at any level and doesn't seem to me to be a leader. He maybe shell shocked I don't know. I like Appleby as a leader and we have to remember last year was his first action playing and I think we will see a much improved version in 2015
