While I am NOT directly blaming DEI on this crash....... indirectly it is at partial fault.....as the tower was short staffed that night, like towers all over the nation.

I don’t care what sources you got, right now there is no evidence that DEI caused this crash. Particularly when the investigation is all over and the final report says that it was the fault of the helicopter crew.

This DEI discussion should not have dominated the press conference after a disaster like this.

There is no proof that even happened. That's a claim a lawsuit is making. You know the difference right?
Air traffic controllers wash out of training at a high rate for all kinds of reason.........because there are rigorous standards. Shortages have been going on forever. A friend and former client just retired. Guy has been working 6 days a week for 30 years. He has all kinds of stories of controllers quitting or losing their job because of stress related problems.

Over 1800 hires last year. The largest number in a decade. Still need more. Needed more under Biden and under trump.
