Why the poor attendance for yesterday's basketball game? Article I read said just a bit over over 5100.

fall break for some area high schools, maybe led to a few less.

but surprising considering a top 20ish team, college students in session, and a fund raiser.

guess it wasn't cold enough to draw the football tailgaters inside (football 'listed' at 41,000+)

Would've been a long day for families going to basketball and football games that have to travel far. Reason I didn't go to basketball game. Then in between games the resturants are packed, unless you go to a fast food place. Just my reasons for me and daughter.

I went to the b-ball game, Hunter's Pub for food in between, and made the football game before the band took the field.

I went to both the exhibition game in Mackey and the football game, and was fortunate to attend a nearby tailgate in a heated tent in between games. A friend of mine and his wife skipped the exhibition game because the wife didn't want to sit thru both games, so they went to the football game only even though they're season ticket holders for basketball.
