Poll: How far will Purdue advance in the tournament?

Sweet sixteen would be at or above our current ranking. It will be winning a tough second round game. I would be very pleased with that.
I don't see us getting past the #1 seed. KU has too much fire power, and will be up for the game. I predict a close loss. I certainly hope we catch fire and beat them for an elite 8 spot, but that has a 20% chance of happening in my opinion.

I want to see them get past the first round hump, beat a hot ISU team and stun Kansas! Elite 8 is more likely than a final four, but could you imagine seeing Michigan w a chance to get to the final four w some sweet revenge! I am betting on Purdue as a long shot to make the final four, but if there ever was a year, this is it.
20% voting for a Final Four Appearance - it's not likely, but I like the optimism.

ISU is already talking how great of a draw they got with you guys in the second round. They are planning to run you out of the gym on their way back to KC and a final four run. The game with you is in the bag.
I hope you guys come out on a mission this year! ISU will bring a ton of fans to Milwaukee so you guys need to travel well or face a road game.

purdue was the better seed/ favorite in 2008, but I remember so many predicting a baylor upset because they'd run us out of the gym
I'm pulling for you guys and all the B1G schools as I always do. I'm just relaying what we hear over hear from the ISU camp. They... like the nation.... think the B1G stinks and is a total joke. They are the the Big 12 champs and took down Kansas. They see you as an inferior program and expect to roll over you. I want nothing more than to see you guys wipe that crap ass grin off their face!
We will see what happens. Its one game at a time. I want Purdue to be focused and win the first game then we can think about the next round.
After the last two years I'm taking nothing for granted. That said, making the Sweet 16 would be a reasonable accomplishment.
I'm not saying it WILL happen, but a Purdue vs. Kansas regional semifinal would be really cool. Both teams have a legitimate player of the year candidate. Kansas has perhaps the best backcourt in college basketball. Purdue has one of the most dominant front lines.

I actually believe I seen some people picking Nevada for the upset.
At first glance, I would say sweet 16, but the more I study the bracket the more I like it. I think Michigan is a bad match-up for Louisville as they are for a lot of teams. In addition, I think the Michigan State/Miami winner could cause some problems for Kansas who also has a history of tightening up in close games ! To beat them, you have to slow down Jackson and Mason. This is where we need some help. Michigan State has Bridges which is friends with and athletic enough to guard Jackson and has some guys who might like to take some charges on Mason. Miami has some taller guards which are athletic. If one of them can pick them off, the bracket would open up for us.

Well I did my first smart bracket on ESPN and without me selecting them it had Purdue winning the national championship against WVU. It's destiny!
I have Purdue beating Michigan to get to the Final Four. Upsetting UNC and then beating Arizona in the National Championship 86 to 84. 
S16 the earliest. I think FF is attainable if we get through Kansas. Don't think UL can keep up with us if we have a good offensive showing. I had one bracket Purdue over Nova in the final. Also had them losing to UK in FF in another.
Thing is, that Purdue team in '08 could run and gun with a mobile center in JaJuan and the prototypical modern 4 in Hummel. And more athletic guards in Kramer and E'Twaun.
I don't think this team has the personnel to do that.
