Since we have a panel of b-ball experts available, I will pose the following issue. This season, I believe I saw the most athletic, quickest, best ball handling guard in Purdue history play. Since those are the characteristics of a point guard IMO, why wasn't he playing that position? Seems like he ended up with the ball in his hands doing his thing anyways, why didn't he start out with the ball. We also had a plethora of 2 and 3 position guards on the roster, any of whom can get hot at the 3 point line and few who might even drive the ball effectively but I still wonder about the who plays the point. I believe we had the same discussion about Carsen, but Carsen was strong but not quick.
