I have no confidence that Purdue will make a good showing against PSU. This squad has no "Killer Instinct" and seems to adjust its level of play downward to a lesser talent opponent. We were supposed to be very talented defensively but Illinois made us look like we had never seen a backdoor play, nor could we ever learn how to defend it. 14 - 3 may look like a decent record, but who have we actually beaten?

Not sure how your vote of no confidence will affect the team...but if I had to hazard a guess I'd say none at all. The old playing down to the opponent exists with 99% of fan bases in every team in all sports. Seriously doubt you could statistically validate the claim. It s the corrollary to every team gets up to play my team theory...complete bullshit.
The fact that we're freaking out over Illinois and not Wofford...I guess I'm ok with where we're at. We can still finish with a 2 or 3 tourney seed.
