H & H played great games but Hill is my MVP. His energy, ability to drive, and defense were amazing. Love 5th year transfers named Jon!

Agree. He also stepped up and cooled off Neal after he got going there at the end of the first half and start of the second half. Hill changed the momentum of the game and then Haas and Hammons finished it.

Agree. Really like the way Painter is using the depth to find the hot hand. Today it was Hill providing the spark. I was a little worried we'd just sub too much coming into the year with so many capable players. So far so good for Matt.

Posted in the game thread about this......liking Johnny Hill more and more each game......add his name to the growing list of Sporty, Peck, and JO as Boilermakers I would have loved to see for more than a year. You have to give CMP some credit......it's seems more than a coincidence to me with it being three years running.

Game changed when Hill forced the over and back on their PG.

Agree with this. Although I'm not a huge fan of PJ and JH on the floor at the same time. We use to do that last year with JO as well.

I was ok with it. Was the end of the game and we were up. Good ball handling and free throw shootering out there. Wouldn't play that way much, but thought it was a good time to go that way.

And New Mexico had its two PGs in the game at that time. I agree, I don't think I want to see much of PJ and Hill on the court at the same time, but I don't think we will.
