Looks like Wiltfong at 247 put out a new crystal ball for Purdue. He originally had him to Pitt. They must have made headway having his last visit. It would be sad to lose this kid to Purdue, but, it's recruiting and anything can happen. Guess we will find out for sure tomorrow morning....

Most of this stems from what you’ll see if you read their premium board. They think some bizarre things relating to Purdue. Most notably that they’d have done so much better than they do with their schedule … if they were us. They really think hiding in the big least and the ACC is like being in the big ten.

I would put Purdue and Pitt as comparable in the college football hierarchy. You could argue one or the other is better. If I was a die-hard football fan at Pitt I would probably be disappointed that Purdue beat them out for a recruit of this caliber.

A paying Rivals customer has the right to say whatever they want on their own board. If that bothers you, then don’t look. What do you care what another team says on their board?

However, if a Pitt fan came over to your message board and insulted your school, then that’s a much different story and you have a right to be upset and defend the honor of your school…

I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm not putting down Purdue. I respect them as a school and their accomplishments. They have done a great job at developing pro QB’s (one of the best). I have two good friends that went to Purdue. It is a fine school...I will consider this a truce…. Good luck this season....

Good luck to you as well. My posts were only directed at those on your premium board saying things like “this kid just flushed his future” and anyone who agreed with them.
