Maryland is going to press us and force the refs to swallow their whistles. The only way to change that is not turn it over and hit shots.

The game plan is out there. Teams know the refs aren’t going to call anything unless Edey gets a broken arm.

That starts with the coach.... If Izzo or Fran would have had a game called like that, they would have been all over the refs & it would have been known at least.

Let's hope that Painter never starts acting like Izzo, Fran, or Collins. At least Izzo and Fran can coach. Pretty sure Collins has never outcoached anyone. Smart players make him look good.

This is exactly what I would do.

He's going to start to do what Kip Jones and Chris Kramer and lots of other guys did later in their careers, figuring out they CAN score and be even more impactful. He looked very comfortable shooting the shot but only did it cause the shot clock was almost up. Both Chris and Kip became competent scorers with the ball in their hand IF the shot clock forced them to just do it. I see the same going to happen with Ethan.
Just keep him off the dang 3 pt line and let him develop a mid range game and that would be hugely helpful.
Not everyone is meant to shoot 3's.

Tough to beat a team with 8 men on the court! Sorry to disagree with some but Edey should have been on the FT quite often with how he was fouled throughout the game and that would have definitely changed the outcome! It would have also slowed the game down in the 2nd half and made NW’s press less effective! Piss poor called game by the officials who the B1G ALWAYS protects and hardly ever goes public with their assessment!
