Yeah, just build in an extra second to allow for slight variations on start. Call it 5 seconds, but the computer actually uses 6 seconds.That would still be dependent on the start count by when the ref hands the ball and possession to start the 10 seconds. Like all technology at some point a human has a chance for error. Could you imagine the problems though when a glitch happened and all the colleges calling Purdue to solve their problems.
