LOL. Standing for old timers (OT)! How many of you saw Terry Dischinger? Now, how about Haas not only looking a little like him face & haircut? Now, isn't Haas starting to play like Disch? WOWSER

I remember Wilt Chamberline saying that Dischinger was the toughest match-up he faced in the NBA.

Haas has at least 5 inches on Dischinger, and probably 60 pounds. He may not have the raw talent or skills (yet), but if Haas can match Dischinger's hustle and intelligence on the floor, there is no ceiling.

Not even close to the same type of player. Dish could post up or take you off the dribble and was really slick with the handles. If Isaac bounces the ball more than once he is in big trouble. Isaac definitely takes up more space and is a monster in the paint.

Now that I think of it, Isaac reminds me more of a bigger Steve Scheffler.

Yes, agree. This year's Isaac, with improved footwork & timing, is a lot like Scheffler, including the lethally high FG%. I think Scheffler could jump higher, but Isaac's height equalizes that. Both are incredible assets.

BigOhh pretty good evaluation! I agree. Both have been fun to watch! Including you!

Didn't Scheffler shoot 80%+ from the field his senior year?

Finished @ 69.8% FG and a "not too shabby" 80.5% from the FT line winning Big Ten Player of the Year honors.
if only Steve would have hit one more in this game (Purdue Texas 1990)...certainly not the best game for a really nice kid

Darn it TJ; had to bring this up, didn't you. I was there that day in the old "Hoosier" Dome. Gene Keady blew a gasket in the presser after the game as well. Tough loss, but the Boilers let it slip away.

yeah...and I was so upset that I allowed the guy that drove to stop at White Castle afterwards. He and I found some seats almost on the floor and so we had a great view. That year I remember X and Georgetown being huge. Jimmy Oliver did well that game...

Terry Dischinger is the single most underrated basketball player of all-time.
