"I'm not doing another three-game MTE again," Hurley said.
Can you imagine being a fan of any team with a HC saying things like that? What a wuss. A total Beta-Male HC.

Not surprising. He was trying to get on Edey last year in the NC game on a foul that he thought was too hard on one of his players.

I wish Edey would have punched him out (of course I am kidding about the punching out thing...well sort of)

Really hope he sticks to his word! Would be nice to know UCONN won't ever be in the NCAA tourney again... given that the end of the season tournament is an MTE. What a classless prick.

In all seriousness, perhaps he should revisit what he did as a player at Seton Hall and take some time off to address his mental health, perhaps gain some perspective.

I had forgotten about that until you posted this. Seems like he was having drinking issues and depression if I remember right. Stepped away during his junior year. He for sure still has issues with his temper and overall control of himself. Good chance it will be his undoing someday. All is great when you're winning and everyone in your community loves you. Not as easy when things don't go your way. Just look at how unhinged he was over 3 losses. Imagine if a whole season didn't go your way....

His rant about not having enough time to adjust in a tourney like that (?!?) prob got so many lols from literally EVERY COACH ON THE PLANET.

Most punchable face in all of college basketball.

In the upper division of all of sports, he might "face off" against Sirianni.

It is hard to believe the coach of the two-time defending NCAA Tournament champion is taking this position against tournament competition. Really good coach - yes. Really big jackass - that's a Big 10-4, good buddy. Over.

Did not know about this story. Knew that there was another Hurley brother back in the day but that's about it.

Mental issues are nothing to gloss over.

That being said, carry on with the punch-able face talk.
