OT: That song that gets stuck in your head....

Save It for Later, The English Beat.

I sing this verse in reference to the football team all the time...

Sooner or later your legs give way and hit the ground
Save it for later don't run away and let me down
Sooner or later ya hit the deck, you'll get found out
Save it for later don't run away run away and let me down
Don't run away run away and let me down
Don't run away run away

with the slight variation for the extended re-mix:

Sooner or later the same mistakes appear
Save your scorn for later or you'll blow a gasket
Sooner or later the same mistakes appear
That's what you get with all your eggs in one basket
Run away
Run away

Jethro Tull and Mylon and the Holy Smokes at the St. Louis Civic Opera House (the acoustics were amazing), or Tull at the Travellodge Theatre in Phx for the Aqualung Tour.

But overall Delbert McClinton blowing the doors off a little joint in Redkey Indiana. Man was that band smokin that night. Some woman tried to pull Delbert's Zipper down, I think she was going to job him right in front of everyone.

Then any one of the seven times I've seen Clapton including Delaney and Bonnie and Friends (Eric) with Ike and Tina as the opening where they premiered "Proud Mary".

You need to be a poet.

I somehow played an entire golf tournament with "You dropped a bomb on me" continually looping through my thoughts......despite being incredibly irritating, it must have helped because we took third place in the scramble.

recently it has been Blue Oyster Cult's "Godzilla" , saw them last Friday and everyone sang the chorus.
Hmm? How could this be posted this long and no one giggled the words "More cowbell"?hehehe. How childish they are.

And now my I.T. guys upgraded our computers and I can't emoticon any more. What's f-ing up with that? No one wants to be happy and illuminate smiles any more? I.T. guys are so decayed, depressing, and dreary, working in that dungeon. Okay. I'm over it now, sigh.

Actually, the song in my head thing happens to me weekly or even daily sometimes. Today I can't get House of Broken Love by Great White out of my helmet. I think this is some sort of disease I have. Maybe from getting my bell rung in high school football or baseball...or hitting my head on the desk everyday for years.

I always use White Room from Cream to remove a song from my head that I can't get rid of. Usually works within the first verse or so.
