Love to see the Bruins pull this one off.
It would drive the IU fans nuts for one, and help our rank for two.

My 18 year old said Willis was cute until I clued her in. Much better now.

KY looks very beatable-I know I'm looking through kool-aid colored glasses but I like our team against any team in the country this year. We just need Davis back healthy at this point.

I at least give Kentucky credit for a true non conference road game. Kryzooski NEVER does this at Duke. His "away" games are at MSG. I would like to see Purdue try to schedule games like these as much as possible. They provide a good wake up call before conference play.

I definitely wouldn't mind seeing a home/home with any of Arizona, Kentucky, Louisville, Kansas, or Texas. Unlikely to happen I suppose. I do think if things go well this year, Purdue has a shot at seeing either UNC, Duke, or Louisville in the ACC Challenge next year. They played Duke in Mackey in 2008 I believe.....didn't go well, but it's a good early season game to have.

I know there is a lot of disdain for all things Michigan State these days, but I do think they have it right with the way their schedule works for the non-conference.

Granted, a lot of the scheduling is dependent upon a number of variables, some of which are outside of the coach's and the school's control.

UCLA's plan was to keep them from scoring in the paint. Worked beautifully.

Well, they did have their starting center go out with a head injury after only 4 minutes, and their top PF play only 17 minutes due to foul trouble. That certainly contributed to what appeared to be UCLA's success at defending the paint.

Good point. But it looks like outside shooting is UK's weakness.Shut down their inside game, and you win.

Purdue would dominate UK.

Maybe "good" Purdue would, but not the team that played yesterday for the first 30+ minutes of the New Mexico game. UCLA played their best game in years (last year they had 7, yes SEVEN, points in the first half at Rupp), and UK played their worst of the season while short-handed. Can't extrapolate from a single data point.
