OT!! - IU STINKS!!!!

How could it be? Keady vs. Knight was a battle for the fate of the world. It was good vs. evil. At least that's how I saw it as a kid.

Painter vs. IU is mostly just a clinic on how to depress Indiana fans for 20 years. At least that's how I see it as an adult.
I shared the same view of good vs evil! I do miss those days with Keady, Knight, Heathcote, Hensen, Tom Davis (I hated Iowa's rolling pass and inbound pressure), and Birdsong.

Read some stuff from IU folks saying players were seen at the casino pretty late the night before. Whether it’s true or not, not sure.

I watched the second half and they looked to be sleep walking. I can’t believe how much money they tossed at this lineup only to see this result on court.

If I’m Painter, I’m holding one scholarship for Sisley. I’ve seen this scenario play out before….IFKYK

We got 2 for next year…save one for him
And a transfer!

I would assume if IU finishes less than top 3 in B1g and don’t make the second weekend, Woodson will “step down”. Then IU will have to start all over to build another team. Sisley probably de-commits, along with rice, Carlyle, mgbako, Tucker and Reneau all transferring out.

Louisville’s backcourt gave IU’s supposed “best backcourt in the B1G”, nightmares. Couldn’t imagine what Marquette or Houston would do to IUs backcourt…probably just make them quit basketball all together.

Certainly agree that another awful season, Woodson steps away instead of being fired. His relationship with Buckner and the admin will make it hard to fire him unless there is a scandal that breaks forcing them.

I think Mgbako is gone regardless because he will try the draft. Not sure about the rest of the team.

Interesting game against Gonzaga - before this tourney, people noted they needed to win out in Atlantis because their non-con is so weak. Now they luck into playing Gonzaga which could be their highest ranked non-con game. If this isn’t a close game, it will be an uphill battle the rest of the way to get the points for the tourney.

As a Purdue fan, I hope he stays at IU forever. He deserves it. He's a legend.
He gone. Not sure he makes it to New Year’s.

It’s easier to do than it used to be—Woodson got his four year chance, Sisley committed to IU despite Woodson, not because of him, and with the portal rebuilding is so much easier (like Louisville and Michigan have done).

Sisley is gone if Woodson is gone. Rice and Carlyle gone.

No I do. But he will be heavily encouraged to leave after this year.

You shredding your team for losing by almost 30 (and almost 40 at one point)? Or was that just you tryin to troll this forum after Purdue lost to a top 10 team on the road?
This team was trash yesterday. And that might be an insult to trash. But it's par for the course under Woodson.

My goodness, IU pulled within 2 and Gonzaga goes on 21-2 run.

Yikes they are bad.
Hey, now! But....but....we have more money.

Exactly the reason IU fans are delusional. They keep stating spend more money and that equals winning games or "Purdue better catch up with NIL spending".

I'll keep our family atmosphere and getting kids that love to wear the "PURDUE" jersey.

I don’t bet on sports games, so I don’t really care who won or lost. I didn’t even know IU was playing Louisville and didn’t really care. I thought this was a Purdue forum.

Maybe you need to change the title to be Purdue and IU forum. You people post as much about IU as you do about Purdue. You talk about all of IU’s games. You talking about their coach. You talk about their NIL. You talk about their recruiting. You talk more about IU than IU fans talk.

I don’t understand what’s your obsession with IU?

I think I shall start talking about my other schools I graduated from. It’s just as related as your talk about IU!! Let’s go Roadrunners!!! How ‘bout them USF Bulls! Go Georgia Bulldogs! Salukis are the best!
Start your own thread about your other schools. This one is clearly about IU.

The memory of Knight walking out very last onto the Mackey floor, to the thunderous derision of the crowd still gives me goosebumps! That intensity will never be recaptured.

The sad thing is, the Big Ten is so bad they will still have a shot at winning it.
The Big Ten is not bad at all, 6 teams in the top 25, 11 receiving votes. Big Ten is gaining on the Big 12 for the second best rated conference. ESPN BPI has IU and Northwestern tied at 0.4% chance of winning Conference, with 12 teams having better odds than IU. So NO, IU doesn't have a shot, closer to Not a chance!

Indiana football was probably about that to make the playoff too.

Wonder if UConn drops out of the challenge with a loss...... 🤔
