Yep. Would have been close and I believe they would have pulled it out.Man, brutal luck. Pacers win that game if Hali doesn't blow out his Achilles.
Any time there is a rash of foot or leg injuries, I have to wonder about the shoes. I recall reading a story about the "olden days", when the most common leg injury in basketball was sprained ankles. Shoe companies then designed shoes to support the ankles, but then the knees took the brunt of the abuse and knee injuries became more prevalent. If Achille's tendon injuries are a result of shoe design, I hope they figure it out before too many players are injured.Nike, Jordan (Nike as we know) and Puma
I know Lillard was coming off a decently long season injury and then tore his achilles.Any time there is a rash of foot or leg injuries, I have to wonder about the shoes. I'm not aware of any issues Tatum had leading into that play.I can’t recall if Tatum was dealing with a leg/ankle Injury during the season or playoffs prior to his injury?
A certain game played in The Barn?Haven’t had that sort of sick feeling in my stomach during a basketball game for about 15 years or so…
It was nauseating, but the hamstring is in the upper leg.Watching his hamstring tear loose from the bone was nauseating. Reminded me of Joe Thiesemans broken leg.
