That defense turned up a notch in the second half tonight!

Haliburton very aggresive all night on offense… had the Braden Smith “almost” triple double tonight!

TJ with so much energy off the bench.

And we got “good” Ben Mathurin tonight.

Turner with sensational defense down the stretch on Chet.

Nemby made it very tough on SGA.

8-0 with Caitlyn Clark watching.

2 more!

Halliburton has just carried this team on his shoulders in big moments throughout this year’s playoffs

Really stumped why Benn is so up and down.
Difference maker when his head is in the game.

42 was another important number last night. That’s minutes played by SGA with Pacer guards hounding him all night. It showed in the fourth.
It certainly did! He looked tired…whole team did. Jefferson on the call talked about that one huge put back dunk Obi had where 2 (3?) guys on OKC didn’t even attempt to block anyone out…showing their fatigue.

Biggest game in Pacer history on Friday?!? Hope gainbridge is ROCKIN and louder than last night!

They did a magnificent job on him. Given what most think of defense and the NBA it was mind expanding. Aaron Nesmith, Andrew Nembhard and Ben Sheppard are all very good defensive wings that can control games with their intensity at times. And they are really the entire difference from the 10-15 start to right now. No other changes.

That was the worst reffed game I've ever seen at any level.

I haven't seen worse reffing in any college game I've ever watched.

I don't care 1/10th about the Pacers as Purdue and I don't think I've ever been as annoyed at the calls and non calls.

Unbiased, I did think the Thunder got the benefit of the calls tonight. But as we all know, that's not what makes or breaks a game in most cases. Hit your free throws, Turner hit the broad side of the barn from 3. Should have never lost the games, refs or not.

Certainly the Pacers played poorly in the fourth, but throughout the game every time they seemed about to break through, foul calls and no calls.

These refs man. Side note: Painter shown in the crowd at the game.
Now 1-8.

NBA fans are all well aware of referee Scott Foster (known as the ‘Extender’ for his ability to extend a playoff series), so go ahead and bet on the series being 2-2 when they return to OKC.
But Commissioner Silver doubles down and assigns Josh Tiven to game 4 as well. Pacers 1-7 this season with Josh officiating.

Replay of the UKC star hitting that late 3.
4 steps.

And I thought NCAA refs were bad.
These pro refs are embarrassingly poor & not to mention one sided at times.

NBA is extremely liberal in interpreting what a gather step is, so it's probably not a travel in the NBA. It sure did seem like a push off, but apparently NBA Twitter basically thinks the amount of force you have to apply to get that called is a lot more.

Lol rule is 4 steps is travel.
Rule is push off is a foul.

But you are correct.....they have had special calls for NBA stars since MJ. That's why NBA is unwatchable. I still remember the MJ push off before he hit that game winner against Pacers back when I liked the NBA. Resultantly....watch very little of it today.

You could also say the push off Reggie had prior to his game winner vs the bulls was a push off. Or Jordan Vs jazz.

The frustrating thing is that the calls for OKC were diff for the pacers. Either call all the ticky tack or none at all…but for both sides. Not for one specific player like SGA. And don’t allow OKC backcourt to grab and push the pacers backcourt when you call the pacers for the same type of physicality or even less.

Why can’t they just be consistent!?

That was the issue, reaches with contact were fouls for the Pacers, steals for OKC. Light contact was a foul for the Pacers on shots, nothing on OKC.

Scott Foster saw the pacers actually winning the first 3 quarters so he said HOLD MY BEER.

Well doesn't matter now. Haliburton 0-5 and zero points is poo 💩.

Indiana looks like a college team playing a pro team. They need a third scorer. Someone besides Siakam and sometimes Hali who can go and get a bucket whenever.

They rely a lot on someone getting hot randomly.

Yeah Hali downer look 100%…if he’s not helping, he should just rest for game 6 😂

Edit: doesnt*
