That's what Rece Davis has been calling the Nebraska Cornhuskers' fans during the broadcast, lol. Looks like MSU is going to pull out the W.

PU > MSU = UN > PU = MSU > UN = ?

I hate to admit it, but I wanted MSU to win. IMO, Nebraska is a list cause for an at large bid, but Sparty is very much alive. Tonight's game might make our loss vs. Nebraska look a little worse, but it also makes our win over MSU look a little better.

Also noticed Horne and McVeigh combine to shoot 2-11 for Nebraska, go figure.....

I couldn't believe that Painter and the assistants didn't have a scouting report for Jeriah Horne prior to their game last Sunday. In a post-game interview (question might have been from Neubert?), CMP basically said he didn't have a scouting report on Horne because he didn't think he would play due to Miles sitting him out the previous game. I simply looked at the recap of Nebraska's game prior to Purdue and right there in the recap it had a quote from Miles saying something to the effect of "I didn't play (Horne) because of practice-related things". Horne had played in almost every other game (if not every game) this season so I anticipated him playing in that game (i.e.Purdue/Nebraska overview). I'm not saying that's the reason Nebraska won that game, but it just seems like a huge oversight for a head coach that gets paid millions of dollars a year to forget to scout an opposing player (rotation player) due to misleading (for him anyway) information.

You are correct that Painter said he didn't expect Horne to play. I am curious about the interview you heard where Painter said he & the staff didn't have a scouting report on Horne. I might be misinterpreting Painter's words, but I heard exactly the opposite in the post-game presser: Nebraska Post-game presser

About Horne:
At 1:53: “Horne doesn't play in the last game, so obviously we watched film and know that he can shoot, make a pull-up, and, you know, shoot on the perimeter...”
At 2:27: “Surprised me he played...He was on the scouting report, and we talked about him. You know he’s made shots before…”

I didn't hear or read that, so I guess he did have a scouting report. All I know is I read the remark where he didn't even think he would play when asked what he thought about Horne. I thought the way he worded it implied that he didn't do a scouting report on him because he didn't think he would play.
