In a thread yesterday a poster asked me to provide info on the Seger concert last night. Here goes.
The opening act was Clare Dunn. Do not spend time here unless you want to see a blonde bombshell who can really play the guitar and belt out good rock/country cross over. She is good. I was told that Bob's opening act will vary by location. She got the call for the 3 Fla shows.
Seeger - Almost 70, he can still rock with the best. He played a 2 hour set that included every one of his numerous hits that I can remember. His voice is still strong. But what impressed me was that I have never seen a performer who looked like he was having more fun. When he was not singing he was cheering on his own band like Haas cheers on the team from the bench. He was accompanied by a 14 person strong Silver Bullet Band.
All I can rap up with is that I know now has he and the band achieved such success with Live Bullet. If you have not seen him live (I had not) it is well worth the $$.
He included 4 songs from his new album which my wife had purchased. This sadly was not a good buy.
