So happy for us all... But my Dad is there with her and Tyler.... He was buried in his Purdue tie in March 2000 so this is a special repeat for him....
As was my uncle Rex Bowman, our family's original Boiler, who was carried from the church to the strains of Hail Purdue at his funeral last fall.
My Dad was buried with a Purdue blanket that my wife and I had given him for Christmas.
One of my best friends died about two months ago suddenly. We went to Purdue together and would call and talk Purdue sports about twice a month. He would have loved this game.
If there is a sports bar in heaven I am sure that they were there cheering the Boilers. God rest them all.
My dad and grandfather would have loved this team!!! If my dad was around we would have been at the game together. He was my sports buddy. I would give anything to watch one more game with them again.
I was 8 years old when Daddy took me to my first Purdue game....
