QC coaches, on both sides of the ball, don’t coach a position. They more or less make sure everyone is on the same page and that practices run smoothly. They do a ton of the film work and charting plays and that sort of stuff during the season.

Much like an operations manager in that they make sure others are successful by being on same page and overseeing common tasks such what was pointed out (film, practice, plays, etc.).
