Ohio State - Purdue Game Discussion Thread

Is it just me or does down and distance not seem to matter to O’Connell? I believe he would step up and complete a 42 yard pass on 3rd and 40.

Stats are pretty even, but you wouldn't know it from the tv crew.

Two fumbles are the only difference in how these two teams have played to this point. Proud of the fight from the offense. Need the defense to find a way to get some stops or turnovers.

That shank punt was basically a TO too. Gave them the ball at Purdue's 40 on their first possession.

If Bell is going to drop a TD, it might as well be in a game we are not going to win even if he caught it.

This is a loss. I think most of us have been around long enough to know many Purdue teams that would have folded early after a couple mistakes and lost to a team like this by 50. I hate to lose but proud of our fight specifically on offense. Love this team. Boiler Up!

for crissakes, can't even tackle on basic run plays

I'm disappointed but not surprised in the outcome. The talent differential was evident.

The only thing I'm "angry" about, because I don't get angry about sports anymore, was the boneheaded decision to switch qbs and fumble.

I'm sure he'll own it, but when coaches say the team will need a perfect game to win, that includes the coaches as well.

Proud of the offense though!
