With a disastrous low of 12,000 jobs report -- and the last year inaccurately over estimated by 1.2 M jobs.....whomever is the next President has got a huge mess to clean up. And the next 9 months don't look great thanks to Bidenomics price, regulations & border disaster.

So it will be humorous for the first 6 months or so for whomever is the next President.....to see how the media spins it.......

If it's K2.....to see the media spin.....saying give her time, be patient........when she has been there 4 years. Lol.

Then if it's T....to see the media trash him because of the Biden economy carrying over to his admin for the first 6 or so months.

It's all pretty predictable.

Yet you post nothing when over 250,000 jobs were created in September.

The opening post is talking about the future.

It was funny you read it as the past.
Many economists believe we already avoided it.

You can find arguments on both sides if you choose.

Aren't you the one always lecturing everybody about waiting for all the facts to come out before jumping to conclusions? I guess that doesn't apply to you. You should follow your own advice.

Well a jobs report of 12K would certainly be a data point. Lol

Interesting, that my focus is whomever is Pres will have to deal with it....And more importantly pointing out how the media will differ with each candidate.

The Dem focus is backwards toward who created the poor job report. Because heaven forbid the report reflect poorly on their gal. Lol

We continue to lose manufacturing jobs. Additions have mostly been in education, government and service economy jobs.
Bureau of Labor Statistics Data says more than 4 million manufacturing jobs have been lost since 2000.
17.3 Million to 12.9 Million today. Who pays for growth in education, government, and the service economy?

Sure it is. That's one. Did you account for the hurricanes and labor strikes?

You wanna LOL your way to a prediction of a recession on one data point?

No post of yours would be complete without blaming the media.

You gonna take your own advice and wait and see or go full hissy?

Are you actually saying the media is anywhere close to accurate and can be trusted. Lol

If so, you are in the minute tiny % that think so.

Just heard on radio some senator in AZ claiming Trump was going to put doctors in jail, and severely punish women whom get abortions. Well that's the media.....and NO part of that is close to accurate. Heard all last week on media Trump supporters were Nazis or garbage and T was Hitler. Again -- total lies. Just 2 of hundreds of thousands of lies this election by left media.

So if you want to tell us the media is close to accurate...go ahead, it will just add to why people laugh at you here.

One data point.....lol, nope....others if you READ.....
(Btw it's not my prediction.....)

Tech layoffs 253,000
Inverted yield curve
Consumer credit extremely high
Interest rates high
Energy cost explosion since 2021
Business costs up
More noncitizens hired than citizens
Housing starts down

Signs the Recession might hold off....
Consumer spending pretty good
Business investment ok
Inflation moderation
GDP growth still good

So yes I read both sides of it....

I didn't say I believed the media, on either side. I said you BLAME the media, consistently and relentlessly. And in order to try to make that argument and yourself sound credible, you also have to consistently and relentlessly say that people believe only what the media tells them too. Almost every post. And while that may be true in some cases, it's no less prevalent with the brain dead MAGA hayseeds that watch Hannity every night and believe everything he says.
In your world only dems are influenced by the media. That's obviously false and a ridiculous premise. Doesn't stop you from saying it.

Oh c'mon Bucky. A laugh emoji is all you got? I guess you'll just ignore this insight into your soul........and then do the same thing tomorrow. Can't wait.

The big increase in government jobs, of course, will pay for that growth.

You, the racist/sexist/transphobicJimmy Kimmel fan, think you can look into somebody's soul?

Do you wear blackface like Jimmy when you look into someone's soul ?

first indicator is usually bad debt rate for personal and home debt. Personal has been creeping up but mortgage have been ok so far.

I laughed for 2 reasons.

First, I tried watching Hannity a couple nights once BNI brought him up. Hate his stick.....seemed to like hearing himself talk.

Then..I realized just like ol Hannity likes hearing hisself talk.....almost like you like endless blathering meaningless arguments. How similar you two are. 'Cept of course 'ol Hannity sounded a bit more logical. LOL

I agree with most everything you say Riveting.
I have a question that I have contemplated for years.
I have been an engineer for over 40 years and a part time farmer for a little 44 years:
While an engineer in manufacturing and the private sector the companies I worked for made most of their money through government contracts.
As a consulting engineer I've made most of my money while designing municipal infrastructure projects.
As a farmer the government subsidizes my business either directly through the set aside program or providing low cost guaranteed profit insurance.

The Government really fuels the economy IMO.

I was referring to the category of 'government jobs' in the fed employment numbers. Your work is not as a direct government employee.

I think innovation is what fuels the economy, especially in such areas of high tech and energy production (such as fracking).
