Pretty sure that's not we are talking about in this situation...he mostly defended vaccinations. Another candidate, one who is, possibly leading the entire field, I'd have to check my notes, said much sillier things about the subject.
No, he doesn't know anything about the topic.
But yet, he speaks about it. And, he is wrong.
Ben Carson is going to make kids sick. That is a fact.
The vaccine schedule is a vaxxer's fastball and he threw one right down the middle of the plate.
He is obviously smart. The question with Carson is whether or not he is putting on a show to win the nomination.
He should know about immunology and the vaccine schedule. He should know the basics of biological evolution. He should know that going to prison doesn't make you gay.
Does he display a level of psychopathic tendencies in his ability to compartmentalize his beliefs, or is he pandering to mouth breathing Republicans?
He did not defend vaccinations. He repeated the number one talking point of the anti-vaxx movement. Too many, too soon. See my other post.

Delaying has negative results. Particularly in a country that you are lucky if you can 6 weeks off of work post birth.

The next time a person is dying from the flu, or say, measles, come on down to the hospital with me. Heck, throw in the 40,000 cases per year of cervical cancer.

Plenty idiotic about Carson from his young earth thoughts to his belief that being in prison can turn someone gay to a whole lot of other things. But it was clear to me that he was as I clearly stated mostly pro-vaccination. He is also a bit of a weasler and when Trump got aggressive he meekly agreed that maybe you could not give so much.
Stupid thing to say, but no Ben Carson isn't killing kids. The overall intellectual level of the Republican primary? Sure.

As I've said before, we already have that. It's called the VA, and it works as efficiently as a Swiss Watch. Yet, you want that to be the standard for the country. Actually, I've milked a few cows. I came to this country as a dirt poor immigrant in 1951 and lived in a small town in NW Illinois. Surprisingly, being a German immigrant in a small town in 1951, was about as popular as being Japanese. My dad was a mechanic and was grossly underpaid, because he was an immigrant and my mother cleaned peoples houses. I was in the lap of luxury. My first year out of HS, I made more money, than my dad did in any year he was in the US, but the opportunity to improve my life was there and I took advantage of it.
I had many friends that lived on farms and I've milked cows, baled hay and shoveled manure (granted, not as well as qaz does on a daily basis).
Yeah, after a 22 year Naval career, I retired in Florida, since that was where I was living at the time and my youngest son was still in HS.
lol First, I've been to more than one whole country. I've even been to more than two whole countries. I've even been to more than three whole countries. I've even been to more than four whole countries. I'll get to add Korea to the list this Winter.

It's having the belief that this country is the best, and has the ability to be even better. I'm one of the more liberal members of this board (especially now that most people have checked out), but that has no effect on my love for and belief in the United States. I take a literal reading of what folks write. Folks then get mad because the literal reading isn't what they intended, so I get accused of "twisting" their words because I didn't try to engage in figuring out they really meant X when they typed Y.
There was a discussion a while back about gay marriage and church status or something (it was a while ago). I don't really debate much with you, and won't remember specifics from threads I'm not involved in. But everyone on here has their posting flaws.
