I will say the game calling on both sides isn't good. Very fortunate to be in this game. Thought we would have made adjustments after the Wisky game. Well, here's to the second half.

We’re getting ready for another out of nowhere upset at the expense of MSU

Really?
What adjustments would you have made you haven't seen?
1) The Burton experiment is no longer working. He either needs a green light to pass or don't run the play.
2) Run was abandoned on the 2nd possession in the red zone that ended in a missed field goal attempt.
3). Burns the last timeout with 43 seconds left when he should have let O'Connell hand off to Doerue.

I could go on.

seriously? That's your answer???
Answer the question.
I did! You put pressure on a defense that you know looks lost? He just got lucky and If that was a TD you would feel the same. We just got lucky. Adjust your play calling for both sides of the field. He didn't do that or at least didn't help.

I actually think the play calling has been good. I like that we are staying at least a little committed to the run. I know many will hate two runs at the end of the half but you must be able to pick up a yard in two downs if you want to win. Plus It could set up play action later in the game. Defensively we have been in decent position but a couple blown coverages and a couple missed tackles have cost us. Play calling hasn’t been the issue imo though.

I agree run the ball. I just don't agree to put pressure on a defense at mid field. We almost got burnt by that decision. He has to realize what he puts on the defense.

The fact this offense has scored 14 points in the last 6 quarters would be your clue that the play calling hasn't been very good.

Do I think actually running the ball is helping today? Sure.

Have we scored more points because of it? Not yet

Think MSU is #2 next week??

They might sneak into the top-5....but I can't see higher than that. Georgia/Oklahoma both up handily, Alabama is off, and Cincinnati won. They fought back well.....made some key plays, and also got a couple of favorable reviews that could have gone the other way - one that cost UM at least 4 points. I don't see them knocking off Ohio State in Columbus. Could win the rest, though. There's a possibility now for a three-way tie in the East in the end if Michigan wins out.

So, the adjustment is to put pressure on a defense you know looks lost.

Adjust playcalling for both sides of the field.

We are on pace to have 150 yards rushing. There have been adjustments on that side. Not perfect, but better.

The defense has a pick 6, and should have had another.

We've made some adjustments, and it looks like we're continuing to make adjustments. Not sure why it merits complaints about no adjustments since the Wisky game, but it's all good.
