O/T: Purdue WVB ranked #4 in the country in latest poll

Also of note, we're currently the top-ranked Big Ten team. Looks like this year is an opportunity to check a couple items off the list for Coach Shondell. First Big Ten title and first Final Four both appear to be realistic goals right now. Still challenging, but realistic. Watched the match against Ohio State on Friday and it was a really competitive, fun match. Looking forward to watching more of them.

That game vs o$u was really fun to watch. Lots of long rallies and a true team victory. Colvin's daughter looked really good and is just a freshman(and looks quite a bit like her father). Purdue volleyball is a very engaging sport to watch, though not always good for the heart rate.

That Sunday match vs Wisconsin was amazing. They looked uber-focused, in sync, determined - a palpable vibe of “we will NOT lose this match”. Gritty gritty team. With a ton of talent.

8th in this week's poll. Behind two teams they have already beaten - Wisconsin and Ohio State. (Yes they have also been beaten by Ohio State in Columbus and in a couple of weeks will play the Badgers again in Madison.) Purdue has beaten teams in the top 25 four times and lost twice.

Now that Mo Hornung and Jael Johnson are recovered, the team is playing much better. And Raven Colvin just keeps getting better.
