NW getting husked by Nebraska

Surprised about this beat down. Looks like Iowa’s division to lose
this conference always has 5 good teams on the top, the rest put in a basket and any of those teams can beat each other.

And for the holidays, the usual Big Ten recipe is to throw them in a bowl and beat thoroughly......hey-oh!

Aside of the embarrassing effort against Illinois to start the year, Nebraska has played well...no doubt improved.

Sad that in a year in which Purdue should be in a position as a program to compete in that division, it still is mired in mediocrity (at best)...a golden opportunity for success and to establish momentum for/in the program wasted, but, I guess that happens when you are in the midst of a 20-year rebuild process.

Upside is that tickets for the game at Wrigley Field should be much easier to come by...game itself may not be much to look forward to, but, the experience still should be.

Man, Purdue lost to two very beatable teams. Oh well, what could have been, had our head coach been able to figure out a way to take advantage of such opportunities. In 5 years, he has demonstrated that he cannot (except for the campus wide emotional force of the OSU game).
