NW beats O$U...

That was my number 1 preseason prediction , that along with IU underestimating what losing yogi meant

.... in Columbus for the first time since 1977.

Looks like NW finally makes the NCAA.

Northwestern is playing really well. The scheduling Gods did not do Purdue any favors by playing Northwestern in Evanston the last game of the conference. Hopefully they have punched their ticket and are not needing a "Signature Win" by then.

I'm going to wait a few more games to buy my tickets for the Northwestern NCAA coronation ceremony. Remember they started 15-3 last year and finished 20-12. Their best win at this point last season was Wisconsin. This season their best win is Dayton. All 4 of their remaining road games are in tough environments, and they do not have a distinct home court advantage against Indiana, Illinois, Purdue, or even Michigan. Without many top 50/100 wins, they will probably need to win 21 games, possibly 22 if win #21 is against Rutgers in the BTT.

Well, we can choose to look at it this way. If NU is still rockin' in early March that will present Purdue with the opportunity to close out the regular season with a quality road win.

I'm not conceding anything to anybody in the B1G this year. Too much parity. Why can't Purdue go into Evanston and take down an NCAA-caliber Northwestern team?

Too late! Northwestern NCAA coronation tickets are all sold out.

Were they bought up by another team's fans like usual? Haha. Seriously, yes now they are making the tourney barring something epic.

NU fans are beginning to attend games rather than sell then to opponent's fans. It will be very loud in Evanston when Purdue plays the rematch.
