Saw a black snake on the tee box at my club a couple of weeks ago. Left him alone and he left me alone.

Pick him up and move him into the woods.

Use a golf club and move it over to the tree line.

Had the snake hit the ball, causing it to move into a better lie, what is the official ruling on such a thing?

Replace the ball as close to the original lie as possible.
