Phantom travel and now a ticky-tack foul
but this officiating team really wanted to get on Fizzo’s Christmas card list. This was pretty blatant.
It was clear that the referees went out of their way to try to give MSU the win...it was egregiously bad. I was pulling for Northwestern in general, but, by the end, I was rooting for them as if they were Purdue almost.Yea, those last three calls were really bad. If NU would have lost that would have been played on ESPN quite a bit because they did all they could to give MSU a chance.
I actually expected the refs to call a foul on him for something. When NW got that last rebound I half expected the dude to whip the ball right at one of the refs as an "F-U, we win anyway!".
We have seen MSU fans "patrol" other message boards, ready to strike down any negative comments about their team and players. I think that has fallen off as there were so many instances of their players being violent with women that the effort seemed lost.Even though I hate those purple pussy cats and their nerdy / annoying af fanbase, I despise that midget Izzo, their inbred fanbase and their thug players even more. I remember I was watching the UNC vs MSU Final Four game at a packed sports bar way back in 2005 (Illinois vs Louisville was the next game) and I said something nice to this group of MSU fans "Hey I hope Sparty knocks off those cheating dbags from North Carolina" and they all acted like I called them a racial slur or something. lol They said "actually we aren't called Sparty we are Spartans"
Their fanbase seems so insecure and overly sensitive (especially on their main message board on the 247 boards)
So I'm glad they are miserable today.
They didn’t like it when police reports featuring MSU players would get copied and pasted. We have seen MSU fans "patrol" other message boards, ready to strike down any negative comments about their team and players.
