I'll take that bet. Show me where I can take Myron's money. I will gladly put some down.

It really isn't bold at all. PU is the only team that by seed# is "supposed" to get to the 2nd weekend. All the other teams will be "underdogs" according to seed# in their 2nd games this weekend.

Whether or not the B1G is truly down can be debated. But what can't be argued is that the committee seeded them as if it is.

There is a hell of a good chance with the first round match ups that Purdue may be the only BIG team to get by the first round..........Hoping this doesn't happen....but some really tough match ups.......

To say no Big 10 teams make the 2nd weekend isn't exactly a stretch considering we are the highest seeded team at a 4 and the only team who is supposed to win our 2nd game. I wouldn't be shocked to see 2 or 3 Big teams make the 2nd weekend. Michigan, Minn, Maryland and Purdue all have solid shots in my opinion. Kansas, Nova and Gonzaga likely aren't happy with Wisconsin, NW and MSU potential match ups game 2.

I mean I think the odds are low and it likely won't happen -- but I wouldn't consider it a crazy prediction.

Only 8 teams get to the second weekend. I'd take the bet even money but not much money

2nd weekend would be sweet 16... as in 16 teams. I would probably lean toward there being no B1G teams there, especially since Minny's SG is injured and they play a good Butler team if both advance past the 1st game. Not too bold of a prediction.

Ya, that's not a huge stretch considering 75% of the field fails to make the second weekend, and only 1 of 7 B1G teams is seeded in the top 4. It might be unusual for a power conference to fail to make the S16, but I'm sure it's not unprecedented.

One thing that concerns me is that two of the B1G's best bets are Purdue, a team that has had trouble getting out of the first round lately, and Michigan, a red-hot team that could go a long way but could just as easily get bounced the first time its shooting goes cold.

Quite frankly, I wouldn't be surprised. However, I could also see very few ACC teams making it that far too.
