Hoping for some good vibes next month when Santana Carlos makes a visitThat might be the single best name .. ever
Precisely what my buddy who's an UGA fan said.Odom has had a big haul! Close to 40 new guys and counting. Tuggle has the potential to be a good one but he has keep his head on straight to be coachable.
Dang. Beat me to it. To which I reply our mantra for every opponent this year:Michael Jackson also on board at WR from Georgia. Sounds like he never played but I've heard he has a signature move.

Madden and Morisette still around from last year. Madden was injured and they are hoping that he anchors the DL and is our main pass rusher this year. Everybody I know who knew him has only great things to say about him as a kid and a football player.Hopefully these Georgia hand me downs are a bit better than the last batch.
I like the fact that Odom is trying to establish strong line players. The past two years, we suffered mightily in those two areas.....Madden and Morisette still around from last year. Morisette- just a guy IMO.
Tuggle is a hell of an athlete and will contribute if he can stay out of jail, trouble and the news.
Know nothing about MJ3.
Since we have a real coach, I’m hopeful he can get more out of the players even if they aren’t as talented as the last batch we had. Time will tell!
How did I miss that name!!! Considering the position he plays, I would have to agree with you.Good, but I think our receiver, Zion Steptoe, is the best name ever!
My buddy worked on the deal to get him to Purdue. He's already in therapy and doing some driving classes because of the potential issue it could/would have caused. Brandon Lee and Brad Odom finalized the deal with some good incentives for accolades. Another potential is Jo'Ziah Edmond 4* from Michigan he's not in the portal yet, but there's a chance.....just saying.Odom has had a big haul! Close to 40 new guys and counting. Kirby really didn't want Nitro to leave, and he is a hard worker, but let's just say he received about double his NIL deal at Purdue and puts him at the top NIL here for a receiver.Hopefully these Georgia hand me downs are a bit better than the last batch.
Is he still here?Good, but I think our receiver, Zion Steptoe, is the best name ever!
Answered my own question. Transferred to Tulsa last year.Is he still here?

The three C's are critical... CompassionThe unfortunate reality is that we’ve seen this story before, and I can’t think of a positive outcome when we’ve gone after talent over character. Another example of the failure of nil/portal - players once had to earn their way back into the roster at the school where the trouble began, now they can just parachute off to another team with no consequences

What did Nitro do at Georgia ? A speeding and reckless driving . Seems to be their big problemThe unfortunate reality is that we’ve seen this story before, and I can’t think of a positive outcome when we’ve gone after talent over character. Agreed, but all 3 are disrupted by the portal and chasing nil. Seems like his coach at Georgia was trying these things, he wasn’t dismissed from the team following his arrest and the coach wanted him to work back into a starting role. But then he bounced off to Purdue, it’s not impossible for young people to overcome mistakes but it sure isn’t helped by this systemThe three C's are critical... Compassion

Welcome to the crazy world of the portal. Jump on and adapt or get left behind! It’s sad it works that way but what do you do when there is no rules when it comes to transfering/NIL…Agreed, but all 3 are disrupted by the portal and chasing nil. I totally agree with you as well. Anytime a coach picks up another teams scratch and dent player, the failures seem to out weigh the successes. Maybe CBO possesses a proven method in dealing with players that are trying to recover from disciplinary issues......Agreed, but all 3 are disrupted by the portal and chasing nil. I think at this point it's a bit of a state of emergency and he's gotta get talent on the field quickly. Some shots will be missed. Some shots will be risky.I totally agree with you as well. I completely agree, and hope for the best. And Nitro may not be one of the stories of regret, but broadly speaking sports are one of the ways a lot of young men learn to grow up, accept discipline and responsibility, and work as a team. NIL and the portal don’t align well with those goals, and the shift is seismic.People make mistakes. Nobody is perfect. With the right mentorship and faith I believe lots of these players will figure it out under Odom.
Yes and no. I think most understand the situation he inherited. There’s a little bit of a grace period IMO as Odom finds his way as a Boiler, NIL erupts or settles over the next 2-3 years and we hopefully get some kind of continuity in the program.I think at this point it's a bit of a state of emergency and he's gotta get talent on the field quickly. Name like nitro he’s gotta be toughSeems like a pretty good haul for Odom.
I know someone who went to high school with him, and they said he’s not a bad kid.
