...having a sportswear company promote an ad campaign that promotes disrespecting our flag as a being courageous and the right thing to do is abhorrent to me. I have personally lost friends who have served our country and honored our flag fighting for our country. For me to have our beloved university be associated with a company that undermines our respect for our country and flag is just not acceptable to me. I respect others that wish to express their political opinions that differ from mine, but I do not respect those that dishonor our country and our flag for the benefit of their own political agenda. I know that this site is not to accept political points of view, but considering the fact that Nike is directly involved in our sports activities and with our university I thought it is an appropriate commentary. For those who disagree with my view, you have my respect, but please understand my point of view. Thanks, Norm
