Nice....USC over Illinois

Going to see crazy wins from time to time. Just like Purdue losing to PSU.... have the right matchups and/or catch a team right, and it can happen.

Illinois already beaten twice by lower tier teams. But also has 2 road wins. Well the home loss voids one of those road wins in a way.

Just hope we can win all home games.

This is why it’s really hard to win more than 15 games in the Big Ten. Pretty easy to stub your toe against second and third tier teams. Games like Nebraska on Sunday are as important as IU.

Illinois didn’t have its star freshman, called the best point guard in the nation by a St. Louis Post-Dispatch columnist, although his Illini nation obviously doesn’t include bearded homesteaders. Kasparas Jakucionis was out with forearmus hurtus. Strained it patting himself on the back.

The Trojans had broken down and failed every time on the road against ranked opponents for over 15 years. No wonder all the drive-ins wound up having to close.

That was a shocking result.
They didn't have Kasparas J. Which hurt them a ton.

That being said, this team is young and lacks veterans other than Boswell who have won consistently at high major level. That matters a ton in conference play. And Boswell was very inconsistent at AZ.

I expected to see them stub their toe a few times and will have a handful of losses in conference. I will not be picking them for deep run in March when brackets roll out either. Too inexperienced.
