Same here actually. There are more pictures up on the Purdue X feed that do it better justice.
I really liked the NO Saints helmet from a week ago. And their shade of gold on their uniforms was what I envisioned as “old gold”
I agree with the others here. I like the helmet. It is different with the Purdue on the side and the color of the gold on the front of the helmet.
I don't care what the helmets look like, just the Ws.
I thought from the thread title you meant Oregon was going to wear some new plaid helmet or something equally hideous from Nike.
I personally wish we would stick with the gold helmets for the tradition. All of our wins this year have been in the gold helmets.

Should’ve filled in the letters in gold vs just having the outline. Hard to read. But then now Maybe somebody will think it’s Vandy or Army getting their teeth kicked in without reading the scoreboard! Blessing in disguise!
if our O is unable to stay on the field much, I really don't know how the Ducks don't score 3 TD's in each of the 1st 3 quarters then call the ducks off. Our D doesn't generate any pass rush and Gabriel should be able to pass at will. The thought of Johnson going against Green is like taking candy from a baby

NCAA closes loophole on Ducks' 12-man penalty
The NCAA is closing the loophole used by Oregon to shave time off the game clock at the end of Saturday's win over Ohio State, when the Ducks intentionally used 12 players on defense.
At least Purdue's players will look sharp while getting their asses handed to them by the Ducks. Like Nando used to say, "It is better to looook goood, than to play goood." Sumpin' along those lines.

How fitting for this team to dress like Pop Warner hicks from the sticks who think all black is so very cool that they would clear the racks of a Goodwill closeout, salvaged from the Nike reject dumpster fire in deep south Ho (Chi Minh) City. Belichick used to do things like this all the time, committing penalties in situations where the clock would start up again after the penalty was walked off again, but the down stayed the same. But back to O$U, they cost themselves plenty in clock management. They should have known, for example, that after the OPI, the clock would run again because the play that was penalized ended with a completed catch on the field of play. Then they didn't understand why the clock didn't stop with 1 second left. Well you still have to call the timeout, not just get down when it's not a first.
