Woke up at 6 am wanting to see if rumors abound or not regarding Purdue Football.
Joe Tiller would say, "Get a Life". LOL Good ole' Cowboy Joe.
I'm intrigued about the next 24 hrs. and have seen a "Tweet" from former GBI publicist Doug Griffiths saying, "Confident search is over and Purdue has its man".
I'm hopeful Purdue has the right man for the job and the future of Football which translates to more than just interest in the sport at Purdue, but revenue to boost other fine sports and good student athletes coming to Purdue for years to come. That is my hope and I'll sit back and be Thankful when it is over.
Regardless of the chosen coach, I'll support Purdue (even if disappointed) and hope to fulfill my bucket list of visiting the remaining Big Ten schools in the 5-10 years of my life and will hope to get some home games in as well. I've got Nebraska, Maryland, Rutgers, tO$U and Michigan to go.

Nebraska is a must do - can't beat the atmosphere and fans
I've never been to the Shoe

I'm starting to think they've had this wrapped up for awhile now, but continued to interview to make it appear that they didn't and to just throw people off until they are ready to announce it. I think it's Fleck and he is on keeping people off the trail with the reports that he is interested in the UNC job after it being reported he prefers to stay in the Midwest and closer to his kids.

Guess we will know for sure sooner or later.

Hey, if the Cubs can win the World Series, we can get back to being a good competitive football program again. This is not the first time that we had a lean 10 to 15 years before. We just need the administration to financially support the program and make it a priority. I am glad Burke is gone. That was a start. Hopefully, we get the coach that can take us there now.

Anyone else find it strange that Herman kisses his players and asst coaches on the check before each game?
Football is a violent visceral sport where a man could lose all function in his legs or get a life altering concussion. Emotion and love are needed. A lack of that from our last head man is why the team played not to get hurt. I have no problem with him kissing them as long as his players don't mind. If he actually kisses all of his coaches as well, that might be a bit much.

At least he isn't open-mouth kissing them...
