I was thinking that exact same thing. Boy it would really suck to lose to them or Iowa St with Indianapolis waiting in the wing.
Lol!! Sorry! KC! Was just making my 500 plans after the game...had Indy on the brain.
I think playing to go to Indy would've been too much additional pressure on our boys.
I'm looking forward to the 101st running of the greatest spectacle in racing.
These days I get goosebumps just thinking about it. I really love taking friends who've never been. From their initial reaction while parking to their disbelief when walking in. It is such a special place and race.
Nevada is getting stuck trying to match 3s. Definitely not impressive, especially for some of the hype they got.
And I think Iowa State is scary. Athletic guards tend to destroy us. It will come down to how well we play perimeter defense.
I mean, I certainly wouldn't say Iowa State isn't good. They'll be a very tough game.
Nevada really looks weak. Opponents should have been switched. Nevada looks like a 13 seed or worse. And Vermont could've definitely been a 12.
