Need an AD with Head Coaching experience in Football or Basketball

Great programs have had this. We need someone who knows what it takes to build a Great Football and Basketballl programs. We need someone who understands Coaching and Recruiting Period. Getting behind IU is embarrassing. More money will be available for other programs if we can football on the right track.

I don't think this is necessarily true at all. Are there some examples of some good ones? I'm sure. But there's also plenty of successful ADs that don't.

The last thing you need is an AD that's micromanaging the football or basketball coach because they used to be one. There's been some rumblings of this being a problem with Alvarez at Wisconsin.
