Gus "the Bus" Edwards is an NFL caliber running back, 6'1" 230, grad transfer from Miami, and we'll have our hands full with him. Think Ray Rice. Expect a high-scoring game that goes down to the 4th qtr.
Nebraska has a new AD and if you go over to the Nebraska forum, Coach Riley is toast right now. It's a foregone conclusion that he will be fired given the slightest provocation and he may be gone by the time that the Huskers come to WL. They've already picked out the leading replacements: Frost, Chip Kelly, Leach seem to be the top 3.
Bottom line is that the morale of this team will be much like that of Hazell's teams during the second half of the season. We need to play upon that and further demoralize them with a big crowd and some early setbacks.
