Nebraska Backup QB Ryker Fyfe starting tomorrow

Yup. We'll still keep worrying about getting beat deep by a kid who's never even done it in a live college game.

Wonder where we will be more aggressive? Our jog to the locker room at the half? Our walk into the stadium?

I hear it's going to be during pre-game meal. The players and coaches are excited to eat their hearts out, only to come out sluggish and lose by 30. Even then we won't know how they played until we watch the film.

This no-name walk on is going to torch Purdue.

He'll fall back to earth once he plays a real defense.

The offense will look dysfunctional, special teams will look "special", Griggs will miss a PAT, there will be several turnovers committed by Purdue, defense will play soft, no pass rush, get gashed over the middle...

But, I love this team. They're special.

I'm sure we'll turn him into a household name by 3:30 tomorrow, with our 17 yard cushions.
I wonder if this kid is related to Barney The Rifle Fife.I know the last names are spelled differently, but they still talk about Barney and his bullet passes down in Mayberry..

This is just like reading the husker boards during the past couple months:D

I feel your pain guys....the "blackshirts" have been making almost every opposing qb look like a Heisman contender.

Good luck tomorrow.

If you somehow manage to make John Shoop's offense halfway respectable, you will truly have accomplished the impossible.
