The way the clock operator cheated down the stretch was shameful. I don't know what the rules say but there was blatant clock manipulation three times in the last four seconds of the game to help MSU cling to their one point lead.

I happened to see the end of this game. After Harris missed his 2nd free throw, the clock started when the ball hit the rim....I think it's supposed to be once it is legally touched by a player, but I could be wrong. Another chunk went off on the first inbound attempt knocked immediately out of bounds by Bridges. Then, on the final inbound attempt, the clock started on the throw.

Final result? Well, despite the buzzer going off early, the officials made the determination that if the shot had gone down it would have counted. It didn't, so we're done here fellas. I think Michigan State would have won anyway, but that seemed like some home clock cooking.

Heller will also be pleased to know that Bo Boroski worked the game.

I think it's fair to question every action that takes place on the court once the horn sounds. Since he missed, I think it's fair to believe the buzzer affected the FGCU shooter. If he had made the shot, I think MSU would have a case in arguing that their defender didn't jump up to defend the shot because he heard the buzzer (he just stood with a hand up). The idea of retiming the replay with a stopwatch & pretending no one heard the horn is ridiculous.

I think the only way to account for the reactions to the early horn is to treat it the same as an inadvertent whistle:
-In this case, the guy caught the inbounds pass with 0.0 on the clock. FGCU gets to replay the 1.6 sec possession because the play never actually happened the first time.
-If he had caught the inbounds & the buzzer sounded before he got the shot off, it should be a dead ball at the horn. FGCU would be left with a side inbounds play with whatever time should have been left at the time of the buzzer.
-If he was able to catch & shoot before an early buzzer, the result of the shot should stand.

He is an incompetent jackass. I've seen him a couple of times already this year and just wonder how he still gets games?

DING DING DING!!! Dude is a criminal. (Bo not Heller, lol).

This is apparently where it all went downhill.....
