Assuming that Caleb Swanigan will stay in the draft and that Isaac Haas and Vince Edwards will return, which of the returnees (Jacquil Taylor included) do you believe will be the most improved next season?

Carsen Edwards. Players often make their biggest jumps between their freshmen and sophomore years, and I think we saw a lot of his potential this year.

Yep.... If coaches continue his free reign.

The one I would like it to be is Haas. Would like to see consistent dominant play.... Not this up and down deal. A positive 28 minutes per game as situations allow. That would do the boilers the most good....and open things up elsewhere.

I expect C Edwards to make a big jump next season but it sure would be nice if Haas and/or Vince Edwards turn out to be most improved after going thru the NBA pre-draft process and responding anything along the lines of Swanigan this past season, given that next season is their last chance to improve how the NBA perceives them.

What makes you even consider that Painter would put leash on Carsen?
Carsen will improve when he starts doing what the coaches are teaching. Buy into playing Purdue defense every possession and make better decisions with the basketball.
Personally I'd like to see Cline shut up all his naysayers.

It probably will be one of those three but as you alluded to, it seems like CE has the most room for improvement out of that group. Overall offensive decision-making and off-the-ball defense are probably the two biggest areas for improvement from him. Also, post-entry feeds and general passing within the halfcourt sets are areas he seemed to struggle in as a freshman.

Yes but infinity multiplied by zero is still zero. :p
Seriously though I hope Taylor hits the ground running. He has put in the time.
but...but...but he does have a stat above zero since being there and I was comparing to "his" previous year, but that may not have answered it correctly since I can't recall teh original question...I do like your math though. :)

Carsen is the obvious answer as he has some things he can work on to allow his overall game to catch up with his natural abilities. I just don't see much of a jump from the senior class as hard as they have been working all along. VE will have more opportunities without Biggie and his numbers will go up accordingly. So, I think his overall numbers could improve the most.
