Just to be clear, based on his tweet, you do or dont think he will make his commitment known on national TV?
I believe several things.
one thing I believe is with so many other uncommitted 5* athletes participating in that game, and also announcing their "official" decisions, that the viewing public will only see about 1/4th of the announcements made. and the remainder will be on a ticker tape at the bottom of the screen. he might make his announcement, but it might not be included in the national TV coverage of the game. You definitely won't see some 10 minute surprise hat trick.
I'm not certain based on his tweet when he will make his actual decision. Will he make his decision before the game or after it? And when will he announce it I don't know.
second thing I believe. I believe the contents of the article published about Brohm wanting Stepp to commit now, and they parted ways partly because of that pressure Brohm placed on Stepp to make a decision. I have to believe Brohm applied similar pressure on Moore.
I believe Alexander is Plan B.
I don't believe an announcement at the game will produce a lot more publicity than a separate announcement Wednesday of Thursday. I recall several 5* athletes deiced to hold their press conference / announcement last year on a separate day than the first signing day to generate more publicity..
I believe I have inside information on a Carterville 4* TE who will also be attending that same all star game, and many people including myself advised him to commit early rather than wait because he's already had two major injuries in the past two years. but, he also wants to wait.
I believe much like the Senior bowl, there will be many college coaches and scouts meeting with the athletes at the all star game with offers in hand and trying to flip unsigned players. a player may go to the all star game with one college in mind, and then he meets the new coach at Tenn, FSU or Texas A&M and comes away with a new offer that week. Much like today, when Rondale's trainer mentioned he's now thinking about FSU as a finalist.
I believe before a commitment is made, there has to be contact and agreement between the player, his parents and the respective coaches and also university. We don't want that issue created last year where the player announced his commitment to Mich or MSU, and the parent refused to sign it. or the 5* DE who committed to Alabama, and then Alabama said they had no scholarships left to give him. or the commitment made last year by DB Williams to Purdue that the university axed.
I believe we'll know Moore tomorrow if this is all just a smoke screen or not.
Those are my beliefs. I doubt you or anyone wants to know my fears or real opinions on this matter. I hope they are wrong.
to answer your question, I DO NOT believe his commitment will be part of the national TV broadcast of the game. And I highly doubt Brohm told him to wait for that game to make his announcement because it would bring additional publicity to the Purdue football program.
