At least he’s not taking the head in the sand approach.
Sure it helps the AD to know the President sees the need to retain Coach Brohm

I think as long as MBob and Mitch are in place, it will be tough for Brohm to leave.Having a good boss and a good work environment are important in any job. Brohm has both
I am sure that is part of it, but Brohm is doing that behind the scenes too. Wright and Bell would not be looking at us, if they felt he was leaving.I wonder if they are subtly sending out a public message to help Brohm in his recruiting efforts of players concerned about him leaving. There sure has been a lot of talk where he is going public and saying I'm not going anywhere. And now the President echos his sentiments.

Which brings up an interesting point. Maybe MBob or Mitch go first? I'm worried about ND for MBob (how old is Swarbrick?) and who knows what Mitch may decide to go do. He literally could do anything in the public or consulting world and make way more money and tackle even bigger problems. I'm not suggesting either are leaving tomorrow but we have a president and AD who are desirable to people outside our school. It's been a very, very long time we could say that."Important?" You are ABSOLUTELY right.
I would suggest it's downright ESSENTIAL. Life without it is one aggravation after another.
Reading between the lines: That's a big part of what Brohm's most recent comment addressed.
I would dare say, there are precious few schools (P5 or not) that have the combo we have right now.
My guess is, Brohm is here for the duration, as long as that team stays together.
