Mistake By Fleck

Sorry but is this a PJ Fleck party? I could care less about him now. Can we move on and focus on Coach Brohm? As many have said Bobinsky "hit a home run" with this hire. I am happy that I kept my seats!

To be honest, I don't see discussion stopping on Fleck anywhere until after the Cotton Bowl and/or his decision. Hell, people are still talking about our hire everywhere.

I feel good that we will never be subjected to the asinine "row the boat" mantra which I understand is all over Kazoo on bldgs, signs, business cards, restaurant menus, and athletic dept emails. Never understood it. WMU nickname is Broncos. Broncos cant row boats, they have hooves? Besides most noteworthy alum from WMU is Tim Allen? Hes not even funny............
Dude, I LOVE Tim Allen.

I've heard they are going after Willie Fritz, current USF coach and former WKU coach. Although with Matt Rhule being hired at Baylor, nothing would surprise me.
You're thinking of Willie Taggart. Fritz is Tulane's coach and former GA Southern HC

It has been trademarked by Adidas and the University. Wouldn't have had to deal with it!

I'm predicting that Wisconsin will hammer WMU 35-17 in the Cotton Bowl. He staying at WMU for another year and have good (8-5 or 9-4) but not a great year, and he be same type of situation again with big power programs passing over him.

I think Fleck made a mistake by not talking to us. It looks like Oregon is passing on him. Cincinnati will be an option but they will not be paying $3.3M/yr for him, more like ~$2M. He may stay with WMU but that's taking a chance, if he doesn't have a similar year. Will be interesting to see where he ended up.
Similiar situation to when I asked out the Homecoming Queen in HS and she declined and I told her she was making the "biggest mistake of her life"

Last I heard she married starting qb on football team who is now a neurosurgeon, living in Milwaukee?

I can't say he made a mistake, because everything I've read has said none of the P5 openings evening tried to interview him. Seemed to be all fan speculation that he should be at the top of the hire lists, but those making the hiring decisions obviously didn't agree.

I agree totally here. Although WMU beat two B1G teams, they were two poor teams and ones that aren't physically gifted. Whisky and Corey Clement run for 200+ yards and control the clock to beat WMU 48 - 24. Sorry but playing Illinois is one thing...playing Whisky who has 300+ pounders on the OL and big, physically talented (and a Watt on the DL) is a totally different story. WMU is playing a big boy and they likely will be brought back to earth suddenly and sharply. Don't think Whisky takes them lightly as that hasn't been a problem at Whisky as long as I can remember.

Yeah, the row boat is about to go up against a Naval Destroyer. Don't think it's going to be pretty.

Tim Allen had the best selling book, was winning the box office, and most watched TV show. The dude has accomplished more in his career than almost anyone.

Terry Crews also went to Western Michigan.

You would think especially so now after the way they lost the Big Ten Championship game.
