As a 49ers fan, I've seen Singletary already as HC. Great man, horrendous coach. And if you guys thought you heard Hazell say he needed to review the film alot, Singletary would drive you to insanity. That's literally his go to comment for any question he didn't have an answer to, was always "will need to review the film". That and he drops his pants during locker room speeches trying to motivate guys, weird. No thanks.

Mike would take one look at our roster and say, "Can't coach 'em, can't win with 'em, can't do it, won't do it."

It seems that we all agree that we need a coach who can step in and really recruit. So given that, why would we hire a guy who has never coached a day of college football, like Singletary? That's one reason why I do not want Greg Olson either. He has been away from college coaching for over a decade.
