Michigan v. Purdue Game Thread (BTT Quarterfinal)

I have a good feeling about the second half. I like our adjustments in the 1st game, I feel like painter will have the guys ready.

I see Wagner has no stats is he even a factor?
I assume Vince is guarding him and that's why Wilson is torching us.
Are wilsons points deep, mid, under? Is he creating or are his points assisted?

Tough to get a good read on this game.....too many turnovers....hardly any rebounds for either side as the shooting has been good. Purdue 3-5 from deep; Michigan 5-11.

VE is the only Purdue player with 2 fouls; CS doesn't have any. Although the Boilers had some lapses, they aren't in a huge hole....you'd think maybe Michigan might get worn down, but who knows. Looks like this will come down to the last few minutes.

Still seems like a coin flip to me. Boilers better come ready to bear for twenty full minutes.

Hopefully with the fouls low and in our favor, we come out much more aggressive and put this away.

Michigan looked more fluid than Purdue over the last 6 or 7 minutes. Purdue doesn't have enough perimeter defenders to shut them down, and our inside game bogged down.

I was really impressed with Michigan's defense late in the first half. They crashed inside on Isaac and Biggie but still recovered well enough to deny Purdue any open outside looks.

How did they manage to lose 11 games?

Purdue is dominating this one other than the fact that Wilson is on fire. Not much you can do in situations like this

Michigan has 6 layups, 1 dunk and 5 FT for 19 easy points - 51% FG That leaves little room for error.

We got great play from boogie, but wasn't able to capitalize on Wagner and Donnell on the bench. We lost a BIG opportunity. Our turnovers HAVE to come down if we are going to win this one.

Haas has two as well, I think.

They weren't good on the road early....lost at Illinois and at home to Ohio State, but I agree in the sense that if they had played like the last 2-3 weeks all year.....they'd be a top-20 team for sure.

I'd say the lucky rolls and bounces have evened out. They've missed multiple shots that appeared to be in.

And too many easy missed baskets. Get his crap out of our system now I guess as opposed to it happening in the big dance.
