Have a jump on the BT title. Michigan State has two road wins and has the easiest schedule remaining. Michigan has a major road win @ Wisconsin and has the second easiest schedule. UCLA has a major road win @ Oregon and is by far the best defensive team, but has the second toughest BT schedule with 11 Quad 1 matchups still to play. Illinois is still a factor, but seem to be great one game and then look pretty bad against NW and have 10 Quad 1 matchups left. Purdue has 10 Quad 1 games left 5-H 5-A. Poor IU has the toughest schedule left with 13 Quad 1 matchups, 6-H 7-A. Oregon is probably toast with 2 home losses. Wisconsin and Ohio State both have a home loss.

Wisconsin his 21/31 from 3 vs a team that never plays defense.
Illinois, while very good, also hit 16/29 from 3.
When teams hit over 50% from 3 on high volume, they’re very difficult to beat if th e other team is unable to match that 3P%
I know we are only 1 game out.....but after watching Purdue get manhandled on the road three times and then get beat vs TX A & M at basically a home game....I have decided that we have no shot at the B10 championship. Team just isn't good enough at this time, and others like you say have the jump on us. Just hope we can improve, finish strong and make the NCAAT.
That's in line with what many were predicting before the season started, but the Alabama win may have created unrealistic expectations. We still have a good chance to be a top tier team in conference, but probably not the top team like the past couple years.
I know the AL win helped my expectations, as prior to that game, I was thinking 11 losses. Now thinking perhaps 9-10.

UCLA goes down in Lincoln.
The B1G has very few easy games as these Pac10 teams will find out. You have to bring A game against everyone (except maybe MinnySoda) or you will get beat.
Lunardi (not that he’s good), had us as a 6 in Midwest, which we d okay in Milwaukee first two round then Indy. Would have to get through UK in second round (well and win that first round)
6-seed line is not always a bad place, if a team isn't in the top-3 of a region. Often much better than the 4/5 line or 7 and 8/9.
11 seeds are often mediocre power conference teams- those don't worry me much, generally.
I keep saying , if we can get a 2-6 seed in Midwest bracket and make the second weekend in Indy, it would be very advantageous to maybe upsetting a 2 or 1 (still very tough but would help a bit).
