Both are at home. Neb throwing two pick sixes is bad. Mich can't score in the red zone is bad. Purdue might have real chances for W's in both games.
Air Force is a well coached team, lock of the day along w/ Okie St.Nebraska looks bad, Michigan looks to be just playing unfocused.
Yes and the academies in general, usually don't beat themselves.Air Force is a well coached team, lock of the day along w/ Okie St.
I always liked Nebraska fans, a little myopic but not as bad as some othersWould love to see Northern Illinois finish the job in Lincoln.
I normally don't say that about another B1G team except maybe Indiana. But I really can't stand Nebraska fans.
seems like Riley is a likeable guy but was never impressed w/ any team he coached, don't think he's the right guy for that program.I always liked Nebraska fans, a little myopic but not as bad as some others
The stat I remember is that Pelini had never gone worse than 8-4 and the new coach had never won 8 games...seems like Riley is a likeable guy but was never impressed w/ any team he coached, don't think he's the right guy for that program.
there was more to the Bo firing than the win- loss record. The stat I remember is that Pelini had never gone worse than 8-4 and the new coach had never won 8 games...
No question. He was damn near a Brett Belima level dbag.there was more to the Bo firing than the win- loss record.
Missouri is no worse than Virginia.Congratulations on the impressive win. Thought Purdue could play with Missouri but never expected Purdue to dominate Missouri. Have been planning on 5 Buckets in a row, but now, I am not nearly as confident. I still don't care much for the Boilers, but I can admire the Boilers. Nice job.

After our big win today, I doubt we'll be able to sneak up on any team in the future. And if Michigan were to lose today, I'd hate to be the team that plays them next week.

My point is IU struggled to put Virginia away.Purdue had no challenge from Missouri.OK. And your point is.....? Peace.
IU has alot of talent, their defense will keep them in alot of games this yearNo offense, but right now it's looking like you might not come close to a bucket for quite a few years to come. Much like the Tiller years.
We won't need to sneak up, we'll beat them handily. After our big win today, I doubt we'll be able to sneak up on any team in the future. And if Michigan were to lose today, I'd hate to be the team that plays them next week.
I'm excited by 2-1 as well but I'm being more cautious than others here. At the end of the day, we've beaten a decent MAC team and laid the wood to a Missouri team that looks to be in turmoil.
Michigan is very talented and also well coached. A win over them next week is still unlikely but to even think it possible is a spot I didn't foresee coming into the year.
My biggest takeaway so far is that there are only two games on our schedule that would surprise me to win. The rest are in play but that doesn't mean they are given. Rutgers is the only game at this point that would surprise me if we lost. Just hoping we get at least four more. Bowl eligibility would be a huge statement in first year.
That decent MAC team just went to a P5 Tre s stadium and throttled them. Granted it was Kansas...but a MAC team going to a major college football team's home stadium and beating them handily is nothing to disregard.
It'll likely be NIU and Ohio in the MAC Chanlionship.

not sold on UM's QB, he's solid but I'd expect better at a program like theirs.Exactly, Brohm & company will outcoach Harbaugh.

I highly doubt Purdue scores 12 points. Maybe 10, 14, 21, or 24. 12 would mean 4 FG (our kicker is woefully inconsistent) or two TDs and missed extra points. IMO Purdue loses 21-24Purdue is improved, but you'll be lucky to score 14 against this defense.
I expect a competitive game and Brohm is doing an amazing job.
Call it 24-12 UM.
I think this years Bucket Game will be competitive.I am glad that you don't seem to be one of those Hoosier fans that think Tom Allen is a much better coach than Jeff Brohm, yet Brohm will be gone from Purdue after a few years, but no other school will try to pry Allen away from Indiana. If Allen is better than Brohm, wont a more impressive school than IU also come after him?I appreciate your posts.Quite a bit of bravado and extreme confidence about IU having no chance in the 2017 bucket game. I guess I can understand after yesterday. Will look forward to the game which I think will be very competitive. But I wouldn't start dusting the 4+ year-old cobwebs off the bucket display case just yet.

An IU fan should not come here talking about things that are collecting cobwebs and dust.....

Oh, right....dusty banners, man on the moon, rinse, repeat. I get it.
Just out of curiosity, why do you think that Allen is the perfect coach for IU? He seems to be doing pretty well so far, and from what I've heard is a high-character person.Appreciate it. FWIW I think Brohm (so far) has shown himself to be an excellent coach. That being said, I don't think Louisville is as good as thought, and Ohio and Missouri are not very good at all. So the jury is still out, but so far, you have to be totally impressed. I think Brohm is a better coach than Allen right now, and may be better forever. But I do think Allen is the perfect coach for IU.
